1. What Yub is
Yub is a website and a backend that read and display a program on the Solana devnet network, and build transactions for you to sign. The program holds deposits in per-round escrow addresses and enforces the rules described in the docs.
Nobody operating this site holds your SOL or your keys. Every transaction is signed by your wallet, and the program, not a person, decides what happens to deposits. The program's upgrade authority could replace the program; that risk is described in the docs.
2. No advice, no promises
Nothing on this site is investment, legal or tax advice. Coins launched through Yub are created on a third-party launch venue by whoever fires a round; neither Yub nor the operator issues, endorses or supports them. Round names, pictures, descriptions and terms are written by openers and are not checked by us. Coins can lose all their value.
3. Risks you accept
- No security audit of the program has been done. A bug could lose deposits.
- The program can be upgraded by its upgrade authority until it is made immutable.
- The launch venue can change or stop; rounds then refund instead of firing.
- Deposits are locked until fire or refund. Transactions on a blockchain can't be reversed by us.
- Network outages, wallet bugs and RPC failures can delay or block transactions.
4. Fees
At fire, the program takes the protocol fee shown on each round page from the buy and sends it to the treasury, once. The coin's creator fees are split as shown on the round page and locked at fire. You also pay network fees and account rent, shown before you sign.
5. Your responsibilities
- Only use Yub where it is legal for you to do so, and not if you are subject to sanctions.
- Keep your wallet and keys safe. We will never ask for a seed phrase or private key.
- Check what your wallet asks you to sign. The site shows every instruction and account before you sign.
- Don't open rounds that impersonate others, mislead buyers, or infringe anyone's rights.
6. Chat and moderation
Chat messages are public and tied to your wallet. We may hide messages or rounds on this site that are abusive, illegal, spam or misleading; hiding something here doesn't change anything on chain. Openers can't delete messages about their rounds.
7. No warranty, limited liability
The site and the program are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for losses arising from the use of the site, the program, the launch venue, wallets or the network.
8. Changes
We may change these terms; the date above shows the last change. Rounds already open keep the on-chain terms they opened with.
